St. Ethel's Girl's High, not the type
Now, I have been working this area a long time. I got feelers out there. And them feelers tingle every so often. I don't mind at all when a stranger arrives at my door with a puzzle piece that don't seem to fit. I have the tools to make it fit. But this is truly a square peg. And I'll be damned if its going to fit in any round hole.
Good luck with this one Junior Detective.

In response:
I guess Johnny Dollar found a kilt in Vancouver. I don't know if he feels he has found our Doctor, but on closer inspection of the kilt pattern, I believe we are looking at a generic kilt pattern and not of the clan that Dr. Tiki belongs.
Here is some more data.

how could we possibly derive the source of that photo??? :D
you tiki tease
That photo is from back in the days when they were in the Tiki Academy together. Dr. Tiki completed his doctorate, but Johnny Johnny never graduated. Dr. Tiki ended up taking him under his wing.
It's kind of a sad story, looking back at those kids all full of hope and promise.
Ok, location. Maybeee... outside the city hall or a church? Is DrT a married man living in sin? Love the idea, that would fit into the concept.
The kilt pattern IS of the clan that Dr. Tiki belongs to, and hence that explains a lot. Dr. Tiki is in fact a Scot. Does anyone remember all the cracks about Scots in Monty Python, they are not just made up.
As for Johnny Johnny, that poor man is NOT a Scot, so he just has to settle for the plain old generic pattern.
Usually when Scots dress up in womens clothes, they do it for a reason (they're not that crazy), St. Paddy's day, funerals and as JJ and DocT neither look drunk nor sad, my guesswould be a wedding.
So there you are, Tip Tip Huraah!
You are coming in real fast so let me break down what you have concluded.
"The kilt pattern IS of the clan that Dr. Tiki belongs to."
You mean that in the picture of Dr. Tiki you can tell he has on a clan's kilt, and furthermore can also tell that Johnny-Johnny has a generic one on.
From that conclude that Dr. Tiki is Scottish and that certainly Johnny-Johnny is not.
Plus they must be at a Wedding.
Not bad analysis from a faux-sepia photo. I only wonder, is it simply sharp deductiive powers you have or are you speaking from a more knowlegeable base. Some one on the inside perhaps?
No, no insider. I just simply got an A+++ in All Knowledge at my final exams for my Master Degree.
Hey, what's up with the tampering/editing of my post? OK, there were some minor spelling/grammatical errors, but they were only flaws like...beauty spots, enhancing the overall beuty of my post! ;0)
beauty
My sincerest apologies Ma'm
Accepted.
Ciao...
i'm on the verge of emailing dr. tiki himself and asking him about the kilt :)
How about posting a non-photoshopped version of the image?
I resent the implication that these photos have been 'doctored' in any way.
Hey, get it? Doctored, yuk, yuk. I crack myself up.
Hey, lighten up.
Alright, already, here is the password, but don't tell anyone else. I got my rep to protect, you see.
'Ta Ta' seems to be someone in the know after all, and is invited inside to the VIP room.
If you have dope on the doc that you care to share privately please contact me on the secure line.
Loose lips sink ships, Mr. Ambassador is never far off set.
OK, here are the right links for the tartan patterns. DocT's: and JJ's. Am I right? Yes Sir!!!
Ciao=Tschüss=Hej=Bye=Varwell=Adios=Salut=Heisan=Ta-Ta...etc, etc!
By jove, that's the McPherson tartan he's a-wearing in that picture!
